  Kim Weiss Lopez
Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Lopez has over 15 years of experience leading the development and implementation of business strategy. She came to Remedy Interactive from a healthcare strategy consulting firm, where she worked with leading health systems and managed care organizations to develop strategic plans, new product development strategies, cost reduction plans and product pricing models. Previously as the CEO and Executive Director of the National Association for Women’s Health (NAWH), she spent five years developing alliances with partners across the country, including large Federal agencies such as the NIH and the CDC. Ms. Lopez is a graduate of the Kellogg Graduate School of Business, Northwestern University. She received her bachelor from the University of California, Berkeley.

 

 



  Erik Andersen
Vice President of Strategic Partnerships

Mr. Andersen is an experienced professional in business development, strategic alliances and other outward-facing roles in complex, multi-national environments. As a worldwide business development executive at PeopleSoft, he led the sales, marketing and development partnerships with HP and Intel. He has designed and executed partner strategies at PeopleSoft, Hewlett-Packard and Federal Express. Mr. Andersen earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis and his MBA from Vanderbilt University.

 

 



  Ben Archibald
Executive Vice President, Technology

Mr. Archibald offers a broad base of experience including online strategy, design and development, and systems integration skills. As the Founder and President of ChangeMedia, a San Francisco based Internet consultancy, Mr. Archibald’s leadership resulted in a company acquisition by Syntegra, an industry leader in developing and deploying advanced web-based solutions for corporate clients. Past experiences also include strategic and technological consultations for clients such as Barclay’s Bank, Cisco Systems and startups such as Active.com and Clickin.com. Mr. Archibald earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Macalester College. Mr. Archibald is also the co-founder and director of Nicenet, a 501(c)(3) organization serving the education community.

 

 



  David L. Bortolin
Vice President of Sales

Mr. Bortolin has over 15 years of enterprise software and high-tech direct sales and channel partner experience. Most recently, Mr. Bortolin developed, implemented and managed sales strategies for Taviz Technology, an enterprise application integration (EAI) player in Silicon Valley. As vice president of North American sales, Mr. Bortolin cultivated and managed key system integrator channel partnerships with Deloitte Consulting and CSC, as well as regional system integrators around the country.

Prior to Taviz, Mr. Bortolin served as vice president of worldwide sales for Brightinfo, a leader in enterprise eMarketing solutions. In that capacity, he brought eMarketing solutions to Fortune 1000 companies and also implemented a channel partner strategy to leverage key relationships such as IBM. Mr. Bortolin received a BS in business administration from Saint Mary's College.

 

 



  Nancy Freedell
Director of Customer Support

Ms. Freedell has specialized in Information Technology systems design and development, and customer support for more than 25 years. Prior to joining Remedy Interactive, she served as Director of Customer Support at Informed Decisions Corporation, where she recruited a department of well-trained technical support professionals to support the company’s higher education clients. Along with the Customer Support Department, Ms. Freedell created product certification classes, project management installation guides, and an annual user group conference that helped increase sales and customer satisfaction. During her 10 year tenure, Informed Decisions Corporation’s customers grew from seven colleges to more than seventy colleges and universities. As the former Director of Information Technology for the California School of Professional Psychology and other companies, she also supervised all data processing and system development functions to ensure technology functions met corporate objectives. Ms. Freedell earned her Associates degree in Administration and Management at St. Petersburg College in Florida.

 

 



  Tom Burke
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Burke is an experienced financial executive with more than 20 years of success building technology companies. Prior to joining Remedy Interactive, he was co-founder and chairman of Calimetrics, Inc., an intellectual property company in the consumer entertainment industry, which was acquired by LSI Logic Corp. (NYSE: LSI). In a decade of work with the company, Mr. Burke served as the first CEO and then as CFO and VP of strategic business development. Prior to Calimetrics, he was an engagement manager in the high-technology practice of McKinsey & Company, and previously he was a product-marketing manager at Apple Computer. Mr. Burke received a BA in economics and history from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

 

 



  Joe Perry
Strategic Sales Officer

Mr. Perry has a broad base of experience in the Fortune 500 Risk Management and Environmental Health and Safety markets. Prior to founding Remedy Interactive, he specialized in industrial rehabilitation and clinical physical therapy. As an Orthopedic Staff Therapist with Kaiser Hospital in San Francisco, he assumed responsibility for the management and treatment of a large patient population. Later, at Active Care, a multi-million dollar San Francisco based physical therapy clinic, he was responsible for implementing a referral-source marketing strategy that grew fee-for-service referrals by 200 percent. He received his masters in physical therapy from the University of California at San Francisco and his undergraduate degree from California State University, Chico.

 



  Brett Weiss
Chief Knowledge Officer

Mr. Weiss brings critical industry expertise to the Remedy Interactive management team. Previously, as a Senior Staff Physical Therapist at Physiotherapy Associates of San Francisco (a Stryker company), he developed, implemented and marketed the Clinic's "Corporate Client Ergonomic Risk Reduction" Program that resulted in a 175 percent increase in corporate client accounts. Additionally, Mr. Weiss developed an ergonomic injury prevention educational course that was implemented throughout Physiotherapy Associates' Bay Area region. Later, as Clinic Director of On-Site Corporate Physical Therapy at Sun Microsystems, Mr. Weiss established and directed operations of three on-site occupational physical therapy clinics at Sun's main Silicon Valley campuses. He received his masters in physical therapy from the University of California at San Francisco with emphasis in human orthopedic kinesiology and human movement. His bachelor degree is in political science from the University of California, Berkeley.

 

 



  Irene White
Senior Director of Marketing

Ms. White is a senior marketing professional with more than 20 years experience driving strategic marketing, brand management and market penetration initiatives for global companies. She joins Remedy Interactive after serving as a senior director of marketing in Cushman & Wakefield’s Client Services division, where she led teams in developing marketing approaches and business development strategies for high level corporate clients. She also worked as a Director of Integrated Strategy for Ameritech/SBC. Prior to her foray into strategic marketing, Ms. White owned and operated a successful design company for 10 years in Chicago. She received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and is pursuing an executive scholar program in sales and marketing from Kellogg Northwestern.
