The American Cancer Society (ACS) emphasizes creating physical and social environments that promote workplace productivity. ACS released its Guidelines on Nutrition and Physical Activity for Cancer Prevention featuring updated diet and physical activity recommendations, noting choices occur within a community that can either help or prevent healthy behaviors.

Experts examine evidence on diet and physical activity factors affecting risks for certain cancers as it develops the guidelines.
